Important Dates and Senior Information
Graduation Rehearsal I: Monday, May 12th, 2025 - MHSHS Commons from 2pm - 4pm (attendance is required).
Graduation Rehearsal II: Tuesday, May 20th, 2025 - MHSHS Commons with staff from 12pm - 2pm (Graduation tickets will be given at this dress rehearsal; attendance is required).
Graduation Rehearsal III: May 21st, 2025 - Gas South Exhibit Halls C/D @ 3:15pm sharp (attendance is required).
Student Parking & Instructions
Leave all personal belongings inside your vehicle, including cell phones and electronics.
- Plan to arrive early to ensure your safety.
- Enter the Satellite Blvd Entrance.
- Park in the designated Parking Deck 1 (a parking attendant will direct you). Parking is validated. NO COST.
- Park or take the elevator to level P3.
- Leave ALL personal items (except one car key) in your vehicle or with a family member. This includes purses, wallets, bags, large items or cell phone/ electronic devices. Cell phones/ electronic devices will be confiscated. Those confiscated will be available for pick up at our school after the ceremony OR the next day.
- Cross the bridge to enter the Convention Center.
- Enter the Gas South Convention Center at 3pm. Open your gown as you enter. You can zip your gown after you go through security. You will be directed to your seat for the ceremony. BE ON TIME!
- Graduates, you may NOT leave once you have arrived and checked-in.
Graduate Attire Do's

Arrive dressed in your NAVY Cap and gown, tassel with ’25 charm, and white MHSHS Stole.

Approved Attire: knee length skirt/dress (black skirt/dress if the hem is longer than your gown), or black slacks, black socks, dark shoes, white-dress shirt or collared shirt, black tie, black dress shoes (leather Sperry or Sperry-like shoes are allowed).

Black flats or low heels are recommended for comfort-There will be plenty of walking and standing. You may wear your ceremony shoes to graduation practice on 5/20 to test your level of comfort.
Graduate Attire Don'ts

Decorated caps and gowns MAY NOT be worn during the Commencement.

Traditional/Heritage stoles or attire MAY NOT be worn during the Commencement.

No jewelry (or anything hanging out of your gown)

No joggers or pants with elastic bottom

No jeans, tennis shoes, or flip flops. Heels and Stiletto shoes are strongly discouraged.
Commencement Rehearsal & Seat Assignments (May 21st)
- Rehearsal will begin promptly at 3:15pm.
- Remain in your assigned seat (You will not be permitted to leave the seating area to visit with family and friends).
- You should be in place for the Graduation processional into the Exhibit Halls at 4:30pm.
- All graduates will process & recess for the Class of 2025 Commencement.
- Graduates, during the presentation of seniors, your name will be announced via Tassel, a pre-recorded name solution that uses professional voiceover artists to announce graduate names. Please ensure the audio recording of your name is correct before the graduation ceremony.
Graduation Tickets
Guest Parking
Doors open for family and friends one (1) hour before the ceremony at 4:00 p.m.
- Enter the Satellite Blvd Entrance.
- Park in the designated Parking Deck 1 (a parking attendance will direct you). Parking is validated. NO COST.
- Park or take the elevator to level P3 and cross the bridge to the Convention Center.
- Guests should be ready to enter together.
- Only clear bags no larger than 14"x14"x6" will be able to enter the venue. If you have a diaper bag or bag required for medical needs, there will be a specific lane through which participants will enter.
- Re-entry for gathering on the concourse will be allowed.
Guest Seating

Handicap seating is available.

Spanish interpretation will be available in which seating will be reserved for those needing interpretation services.

Seating for all other guests is not assigned; first come, first serve.

All guests will be seated front to rear of the Exhibit Halls.

Junior Marshals (dressed in gray blazers) will be available to distribute programs and assist with restroom or water needs.
Guest Dismissal
Guests will be dismissed after the graduates recess. Upon exit, please proceed to your vehicle and exit the venue.
- For safety, all guests are asked to meet graduates at a predetermined location after the event as opposed to meeting inside the Exhibit Halls after the ceremony. Tailgating and loitering are prohibited.
